Tszyanfey is a set of three simple breathing exercises.
Exercise number 1. Wave
The name of this exercise in itself is an accurate guide to its implementation.
Lie on your back, bend your knees, and keep your legs parallel to one other, put your left hand on the stomach and the right hand on the chest.
As you inhale, your chest will move up and stomach will go down. And when you exhale, the reverse will happen (chest will move down and stomach will move up). Hence during one cycle, your body will eventually move like a wave.
Try a set of forty (inhale and exhale) in one go. Later on you can increase this number.
You can also perform it in sitting or standing position.
Try this exercise when you feel that creeping feeling of hunger. The wave copes with the hunger and also protects you from dizziness and weakness associated with fasting or dieting.
If during the execution of Waves, you suffer from dizziness or nausea, try to slow down your breathing. If this does not work, then you are not fit for this breathing exercise.
Exercise number 2. Frog
As in the previous exercise, in the name of the exercise contains a hint for its implementation. Remember, as a frog can inflate your stomach? We have to do the same.
To do this, sit on a chair or sofa, spread your legs so that your knees are shoulder width apart, lock elbows on the knees. As seen in the illustration above, the left hand should be in a fist and right hand should cover it from top. Place your head on your folded hand as shown in below figure.Now close your eyes and relax.
Inhale air slowly using the nose, filling your belly with air and blowing it till the abdominal cavity is full. Now hold your breath for two seconds. Slowly exhale using the mouth.
Do not get distracted by counting the number of repetitions. Just do it for 15 minutes. Do it for fifteen minutes, three times a day for maximum benefits.
Apart from the metabolism, Frog also improves the skin complexion, gently massages the internal organs, improves the blood circulation and vitality.
If you are suffering from internal bleeding or recently gone through internal surgery, please avoid this.
Exercise number three. Lotus
In lotus, you have to sit in the Buddha Pose.
Sit on your buttocks with crossed legs. Make sure that the right leg is lower, and the left is on top of it.In this position, place your hands loosely in front of your feet. Women must place left hand over the right (for men this is opposite).Close your eyes and drop your head forward. Think of something pleasant.
You need to perform three sets of breathing in lotus.
Breathing Set 1
This is of five minute duration. Take deep breaths so that you can see your chest and abdomen rising.
Breathing Set 2
This is also of five minute duration. Loosen some breath control. Try to make a long breath,but breathe naturally.
Breathing Set 3
This is of ten minute duration. No need to control breath and do not get distracted by anything. Just breath naturally.
Perform Lotus three times a day for maximum benefit.
